Rodrigo Casado Noguerales

I am a PhD student at the Data Analytics Lab, ETH Zürich, co-supervised by Thomas Hofmann and Bernhard Schölkopf as part of the Max Planck ETH Center for Learning Systems. My research interests lie at the intersection between deep learning, generative modeling, and mathematics, currently working on discrete diffusion and reasoning tasks.

Before the PhD, I did machine-learning R&D at EthonAI, an ETH spin-off. I received my MSc in Mathematics from ETH Zürich and my BSc in Mathematics and BSc in Physics from the Complutense University of Madrid, supported by a “la Caixa” Foundation fellowship.
